How much does it cost to get an acoustic guitar fixed?

My grandma gave me my late grandpas old acoustic guitar.it hasnt been used for atleast 10 years and i want to play it. But the strings are all old and rusty and its just worn down in general. I can easily go to guitar center or something but i just want a range for how much it costs

Qualifications for U.S. Army 11B MOS?

I'm thinking about enlisting in the next year or so and was wondering what I would need to do to qualify for Infantry, Airborne, Ranger and Special Forces training. I just want to know how hard it is to get these MOS's and how to get them. Also what ASVAB scores do I need to qualify for these four?

Guitar teacher is making us use pick?

If you think about it. Your fast finger picking. So why not learn with a pick and get fast at that too. I see no bad comming from learning as many styles as you can. What if you even learn to like picks more? Give it a try if you don't like it after a while. Well your paying for the Lessons so if he won't teach it how you want to learn take your money elsewhere

What do army nurses do?

Wondering about army nursing. I plan on doing ROTC in college. If I were to major in nursing would I have a good shot at the army ROTC scholarship? While in ROTC do nursing cadets get the chance to go to airborne school and air assault school? Could an army nurse be part of medevac or be sent on rescue missions? What do army nurses do when deployed? Can they be sent to front lines as a medic? What opportunities,travel etc. Is available to army nurses? What is life like for a male army nurse? Work schedule? Has anyone heard of an antique Gibson acoustic Bluegill?

My bf has a really old Gibson guitar that he wants to see about getting restored. He's calling it a Bluegill (i'm guessing that's how it would be spelt) but I can't find anything on the internet about that guitar. Does anyone know anything about this model? Does it maybe have another more popular name?

What can I expect if getting married during leave between AIT/Airborne and first duty station?

I'm currently in AIT (U.S. Army) and once I graduate from here I will be heading to Airborne. Once I finish with Airborne, I plan on taking a couple days leave and going back home to marry my girlfriend. I was wondering what to expect once this happens. How long will it take before she'd be allowed to move in with me on base, and how would I go about getting my status changed so that the base knows I will be needing housing for two, not for just myself? Also, if after Airborne my orders come through and end up being overseas, how do I go about making sure she will be able to accompany me there?
