What do army nurses do?

Wondering about army nursing. I plan on doing ROTC in college. If I were to major in nursing would I have a good shot at the army ROTC scholarship? While in ROTC do nursing cadets get the chance to go to airborne school and air assault school? Could an army nurse be part of medevac or be sent on rescue missions? What do army nurses do when deployed? Can they be sent to front lines as a medic? What opportunities,travel etc. Is available to army nurses? What is life like for a male army nurse? Work schedule?
