Why do people discriminate against eminem so much?

it seems like every comment made by someone who doesnt like him is followed by cracker or white boy or some other original diss. i positively hate lil wayne but i dont go around calling him black as knight or a cackling hyena. everyone has there own opinion but why bother trashing someone who will never see it????
