I never understood this. Why are the Africans starving if they have animals like elephants, zebras, buffalo?

knowing the way the Government's of Africa work...they are probably protecting the animals and they don't give too much thought to feeding the starving of their continent...what food aid does to there...is mostly taken by guards and soldiers...and officials - and what's left...the people get - if they are lucky!
